The charging voltage of lithium-ion battery cells must be strictly maintained at about 4.1V, and the charging current is usually limited to less than 1C. If the charging voltage exceeds 4.5V, it may cause permanent damage to the lithium-ion battery. Lithium-ion battery discharge current should not normally exceed 3C. discharging monomer voltage must not be less than 2.2V. battery voltage below 2.2V, it will cause permanent damage.
At present, lithium-ion battery is a new type of battery with optimal comprehensive performance among all secondary batteries. Compared with other power batteries, lithium-ion batteries used in electric vehicles, in terms of capacity and power have greater advantages. The energy density, power density, cycle life and safety of lithium-ion batteries meet the mid-term goal of power batteries for electric vehicles set by USABC.
